Exercise Plans

We all experience injuries. Unfortunately, our pets can go months compensating from their injuries before we realize they even have one! This causes misalignments throughout their body dramatically altering the way they get around. Exercise plans include a series of stretches, massages, range of motion maneuvers, and balance drills to help pets recover their strength and flexibility following injuries or surgeries. From working dogs to overweight cats, these plans will be regularly modified to fit the needs of any pet.

Acupuncture

Veterinary medical acupuncture (dry-needling) is the insertion of sterile needles at specific sites on an animal’s body to produce a natural healing response. Modern acupuncture points are based on Traditional Chinese Medicine but have been refined by our growing knowledge of anatomy, neurology, and physiology. Acupuncture modulates nerve signaling, releases muscle tension, stimulates the immune system, down-regulates pain pathways, and balances the autonomic nervous system. These benefits make acupuncture an ideal treatment modality for acute and chronic diseases affecting the musculoskeletal, digestive, and nervous systems.

Laser Therapy

Laser therapy, better defined as photobiomodulation, uses light to naturally activate a cell’s mitochondria. The subsequent increase in ATP and shift in cell signaling decreases inflammation, alleviates pain, and accelerates tissue healing. We use a safe, gentle, and effective Class IV Laser. Laser therapy can be added to almost every treatment plan to promote faster healing and longer-lasting pain relief. We recommend regular laser therapy sessions for common ailments such as arthritis, lick granulomas, ear infections, and urinary tract diseases.

Holistic Medicine Consult

A holistic exam (western and myofascial) including a review of the pet's medical history and records. Discuss additional diagnostics and create a therapeutic plan. Consult includes an initial laser or acupuncture (dry-needling) treatment.

Single Modality Treatment Session

Beneficial for pets needing attention to acute problems or minor ailments. Great for healthy, highly-active pets and working animals as well!

Dual Modality Treatment Session

Targeted pain relief. Can be used for acute or chronic conditions.

Multi-Modality Treatment Session

Patients with advanced needs that benefit from acupuncture (dry-needling), e-stim, and laser therapy. Most beneficial for neurologic diseases.

Recheck Exam

We recommend reevaluating a patient’s treatment plan every 12 months for long-term clients. If it has been longer than 6 months since we last treated your pet, or there is a major change in their medical care, we recommend a recheck exam to update our treatment plan..
